The house is an owner-occupied 2 bed cottage, with private offstreet parking, on a quiet lane. Owner is an arts professional, mid-40s. The house is a 1 minute walk from a bus stop for the 215 and 215A routes, which go from Mahon to City Centre every 15 mins or so. The bus journey takes 15-20 depending on traffic and time of day, with a car journey taking 10-15 mins. Douglas Village (with supermarkets, restaurants, bars etc) is a 20 min walk, and there are a number of other supermarkets nearby. The cottage is within easy walking distance of several parks, including Ballinlough Park, Beaumont Quarry Park and Marina Park. For anyone travelling out of the city regularly by car, the exit to the N40 (in both directions) is a 10 minute drive from the house.
